We were fortunate to be able to move to our new office and have Dr. Tony Carbonara and Dr. Eric Roth join our practice, helping to accommodate all of your eye care needs. We want to thank our staff and patients SO much for your understanding, patience and loyalty to our small business as we navigated through this difficult year. We appreciate you all and... value the opportunity to see you in 2021! Dr. Haley Backus and Dr. Michelle Coyne

Using electronic devices right before bed can obstruct your bodys internal clock (circadian rhythm). The blue light emitted from these devices hinders the release of the sleep-inducing hormone, melatonin, making it difficult to get a good night of quality sleep. Consider changing the settings on your phone to blue light filter/night shift or stop using your digital devices for at least 45 minutes before bedtime.
To keep safe & healthy, were constantly washing our hands. But what about our smartphones? Studies have shown that these devices can be carriers for viruses, bacteria, & even fungi! Check with your phone manufacturer for cleaning instructions. If your hands are contaminated & youve been using your phone, chances are... its contaminated too!
Contact our office today to learn all about our blue light filter options for your glasses.
Did you know that your glasses can potentially transfer viruses? COVID-19 can live on plastic and glass surfaces for several days. Cleaning our glasses frequently after touching them could stop the contamination cycle. Heres how to disinfect your glasses:

The earlier problems are diagnosed, the more effectively they can be treated. Excellent vision and visual skills can lead to academic success and, in turn, self-confidence.
