As provincial restrictions are allowing business to start getting back to work, Lakeview Dental Clinic will be starting to see more and more patients in the coming weeks. We are working our hardest to play catch-up from those appointments that had to be rescheduled during the pandemic and we will be looking to start up our hygiene department in the near future so we can keep up with regular cleanings and exams. Today Alberta Premier Jason Kenny made the important announcement that dental clinics will be permitted to resume services as of Monday May 4th. This is promising news and a step in the right direction towards re-opening our services. However, re-opening at this time will require operating guidelines/protocols from the ADA&C as well as acquiring the appropriate PPE to adhere to those guidelines. We are expecting many changes to our regular protocols that will be necessary pr...ecautions to ensure the health and safety of both our patients and staff members. We have been working to ensure our clinic is as prepared as possible to resume patient care as soon as the ADA&C provides us with their guidelines and we are able to source the required PPE. As per the recommendations made by Alberta Health. The Alberta Dental Association and College has implemented measures in the dental office. As of March 17, 2020 we will no longer be able to provide routine treatment. Dental Emergencies will be redirected to a designated facility (More info to come). Thank you to all of our patients and staff for your understanding at this uncertain time. We will try and keep everyone informed as more information is provided to us.
