We are just 6 days away from reopening. As always we start the season offering plants that can tolerate cooler temperatures. Pansies and Violas, vegetables like-onions, leeks, celery, brassicas(anything in the Cabbage family) peas, beets, spinach, chard and a limited selection of herbs. Operating under the provincial guidelines for Covid-19 means we can have 25% capacity in the garden centre for in person shopping. We kindly ask that only 1 person shops per household. A lot has been going on this last week or so. Pansy and viola bowls are colouring up real nice. Proven winner pots are going on the benches fast. Non-stop begonias are now potted. Now our Geranium Baskets are sizing up and showing some colour too along with the Martha Washington Geraniums in 5 pots. Our fresh produce production has started! These plants will be planted into large containers or directly outside weather permitting in the next couple of weeks. Should have Leaf lettuce medley, kale, collards, spring cabbage, Swiss chard,spinach, kohlrabi and green onions available mid May. Packing Green beans for our farm market and for the Innisfil Farmers' Market tomorrow! We just picked today

This Thursday is the last Innisfil Farmers' Market of the season. We will be setup from 1-6 in the south parking lot of the YMCA with our farm fresh produce as well as hand selected local produce. From our farm- Green Beans are back again along with Cucumbers, tomatoes, peppers, eggplant, lettuce, spinach, kale, collards, leeks and shallots. We even have arugula this week too! Local- Anjou Pears, 5 varieties of apples, broccoli, cauliflower, cabbage, carrots, celery, onions, garlic, rutabaga, parsnips, sweet potatoes, beets and potatoes. Starting mid week next week we will have fresh green beans available again! Gotta love being able to extend our season by growing in a greenhouse. We will be setup tomorrow at the Innisfil Farmers' Market from 1-6 in the south parking lot of the YMCA. This is our second last outdoor market of the season.
