Last trip of the year to fantastic Chisholm mills. To pick up the last little bit of shiplap and pine flooring needed to finish up the interior cottage project. As usual my copilot Willy insisted on making the trip

Nice upgrade for this Kingston downtown triplex. Out with the old outdated electric hot water tanks. In with three new gas hot water tanks for quicker heat recovery. Also added three new water meters to separate the usage for each apartment. This triplex has been a huge undertaking but the infrastructure will all be brand new. So many many problem free years of rental income

Renovations of our multiunit building downtown are well underway. Unit one is getting painted. And we started to tear out in unit two. Tonight was a little bit of prep of the pine wooden boxes that are going to go over the steel I-beams to give the look of wooden beams in the unit 1 with a 9 foot ceilings. The last picture is the plan of what it should look like when it’s finished.

All over the place today. Down to our triplex renovation in downtown Kingston to oversee the electricians and install the new front door. And then back to the house to take delivery of Lakewood’s newest toy to make life a little easier. Then off to the 1000 Islands. To barge the new flooring material to our cottage renovation. Beautiful day for it.

Final roof of the season. Just happens to be my own. Glad we were able to squeeze it in before the snow. This house is a testament to how doing a proper job originally saves you in the long run. Earlier in the season we had to redo a roof on a house that was only seven years old. Because the original builders did such a poor job of venting and shingling. The roof on this house has been there for 22 years. Do it right the first time and it will save you in the long run.

Last minute trip to Pembroke Ontario to pick up the newest addition to the Lakewood fleet. Growing company needs a larger trailer. Late night but a good find.

Done and done. Wrapped the two big deck projects today. Now for some lake time of my own for August .

Almost there. With the mega deck. Railing should be wrapped up tomorrow afternoon then just our final inspection. It’s been a huge project.

Our two Buck Lake July deck projects are Almost completed. Installed the LED crystal railing at the double Dekker project and completed the wood structure of the mega deck. Installation of the black aluminum railing for the mega deck starts Monday. Looking forward to some time off in August

Little upgrade to the Lakewood Work truck tonight. New backrack, toolbox and trailer brake controller. As well a fix AC witch should make the crew happy. It’s been a hot few weeks.
