Unfortunately, NCHC/CARA May 1/2, 2021 is post-poned due to additional measures announced by the government of Ontario and effective April 8th. However, outdoor organized event and social gathering are permitted with 5 people. Therefore, Lalibertefarm will be running our regular lure coursing practice, i.e., one-on-one session and with appointment only. You can book via our website at Lalibertefarm.ca. Stay tuned for updates regarding the NCHC/CARA race!

If you’re new to lure coursing, you might be wondering what happens if your dog has never tried coursing before? What about puppies and their bone development? Should we wait before we try this? I don’t want any injuries! You’re absolutely right to be concerned but you should know that we are too! When we first introduce a dog to coursing, we will tease it with the bag to gauge interest, then slowly ramp up the running. We’ll make sure your baby is not running more than ...they can (believe us when we say 2-3 runs is MORE than enough). And if a dog is less than a year old, we won’t do any turns because they can be hard on the hips/bones, so we’ll get the puppy to run straight, and maybe reverse the lure so it comes back straight again. Our #1 priority will always be your dog’s safety, then their happiness https://www.instagram.com/p/CNFdJp5HryR/
