A live show? Streamed from not my couch?! Hooray! I'm very much looking forward to performing for Guelph Museums' Fourth Fridays this coming Friday evening, and the coolest thing is that I get to go to the museum and sing from there! All the details I have can be found here: https://guelphmuseums.ca/ev/fourth-friday-preetam-sengupta/ Hope you'll be able to join me!
Have you been enjoying yourself on trails as much as I have these past several months? The City of Waterloo has this really cool project, cleverly called "Trail Mix", where people can scan QR codes posted along select trails and listen to a curated playlist of regional artists as they go. I'm honoured (humbled, really) to be included among these fine artists, and you can hear one of my songs along the Walter Bean Grand River Trail. Check out details for the project here: https://www.winterloofestival.ca/around-waterloo/trail-mix Have a great weekend!
And to all a good night. https://youtu.be/761JE-MkPZ0
I've been fairly quiet here in Facebook world for a while. I hope everyone is keeping well. It's so strange not planning for our annual Sarnia Library Theatre show this year, but I think Emm Gryner is doing a holiday show through Bluewater Health Foundation on YourTV this week, so if you're in the Sarnia area, maybe you'll be able to enjoy that and it'll be like we haven't missed anything at all. Speaking of not missing things, it's December and it's snowy near me today, so it seems like the right time to share my annual gift with all of you. If you like Christmas-y music, you can stream/download my Christmas album for free by visiting https://preetam.bandcamp.com//to-you-from-me-this-christmas. Wishing everyone a very safe, healthy, and happy holiday season.
I'll be the Preetam portion of Preetam Sengupta // Tannis Slimmon & Lewis Melville [Livestream], after Tannis and Lewis begin the concert with a few songs. It's a real LIVE backyard show that will be broadcast here as well. Hope to see you then!
It's a beautiful day in Guelph and we're just a couple of hours away from the start of Preetam Sengupta // Tannis Slimmon & Lewis Melville [Livestream]. Just stay on/venture back to this artist page of mine at 2pm if you want to check it out. Whether you join us or not, I hope everyone has a fantastic Saturday!

A real LIVE show, you say?! What a treat it will be to perform in Tannis and Lewis's beautiful backyard next Saturday afternoon. There may even be very limited live seats available (please reach out to me if interested), but everyone is welcome to join us online for Preetam Sengupta // Tannis Slimmon & Lewis Melville [Livestream] to see if I remember how to play any songs and whether or not I decide to break out my non-isolation wardrobe (i.e. not track pants)...neither of which seems likely at the moment.
#YearOfLocal is an annual compilation of stories celebrating Sarnia, and I'm honoured to be featured in this year's edition. Physical copies of the book will be available, but you can read the story (and see giant pictures of me) online at https://hashtaglocal.com/stories/preetam-sengupta. I've lived away from Sarnia for many years, but it will always be home, and it really means a lot to have been considered for this. Thank you.
