Sneak peek...it takes a lot of effort to recreate nature’s amazing wonders. I have always loved art that is 3D and resin allows me to create this type of art over and over each time getting a little better. This is what happens when o want to make amethyst cathedral pieces. I dye the stones with alcohol inks in multiple textures, tones, and sizes. Once dry, these stones are placed on the canvas with glue one at a time. Carefully selecting the color and textured from all the ...dyed pieces. Tedious work for sure but for me a form of meditation.
