Thank you! I would like to thank everyone who shared our post about the stolen Kodiac and Kayak. They have been found and are now back at camp. To our neighbours that contacted me to let me know that the boats had washed up on their beach THANK YOU. This is what community is all about. It is always good to have some good news during such a trying time.

LAMBTON CENTRE IS TEMPORARILY CLOSED TO ALL VISITERS. On March 24th, the Province of Ontario announced that all non-essential services are to be closed for at least two weeks. Since then, I have been consulting with other campgrounds and the organization Camps in Ontario to clarify what that means for us here at Lambton Centre. The advice that I have been given is that unless we are providing self-isolation to snowbirds we are NOT an essential service. (We are not provid...ing any such service at this time) Any non-essential organization which remains open faces potential fines of $500,000 As a result, it is in the best interest of Lambton Centre and our campers that we lock the gate to all visitors and seasonal campers for the duration of the state of emergency. I am asking you not to visit the campground until we clarify that the emergency is over. The office is also closed at this time to any in-person visits, however, we will be checking messages and emails on a regular basis. If you have news you would like to share with us and your fellow campers, we invite you to keep in touch on our Facebook page. We are still hopeful that we will be able to open for the season but we will have to wait and see. Things are changing very quickly and we will do our best to keep you updated as new information is available. Thank you for your understanding in these challenging times. Please be safe so that we can have a great summer season together. Rick Boerkamp Executive Director Lambton Centre

With the news today regarding the pausing of the CHL/OHL hockey season, this weekend's Chuck-A-Puck fundraiser has been postponed to a later date. Once we are aware of the new date for our Chuck-A-Puck game, we will pass on that information. https://sarniasting.com//chl-statement-2019-20-season-paus

HAPPY NEW YEAR Thank you to everyone who made 2019 such a great year at Lambton Centre. From campers to renters it has been a great year of growth and adventure. For the first time in many years, we were able to enjoy sand on the beach Sunsets over the water. We had hot summer days and some incredible summer storms. With the help of so many volunteers, the camp looked great and campers young and older have some great memories. I look forward to 2020 as a year of new opportunities and growth. A year to create new memories and inspire young people to discover their gifts. Stay connected with our newsletter. https://mailchi.mp/b60eac741776/lambtoncentrenewsletter

We had a busy weekend at Lambton Centre. All the facilities were busy. This group of youth explored the creek and camped in the Wilderness. A perfect place for a small group of adventurous youth.
