After the training, we have a little fun burning.
Just a little training on a brisk spring morning!

Following the post from the Saskatoon Police Service on tickets being handed out to drivers for photographing yesterday’s fatal accident in Saskatoon, we want t...o stress the importance of the message behind it. It is not just about the monetary penalty of the ticket. It is human nature to be curious. This is a fact. What we hope you understand is that you never know what you will see and how it can affect you or your passengers. Pictures and videos posted online or shared in a community as small as Saskatchewan have the potential to reach family and friends long before the proper authorities even get the chance. Place yourself in their shoes. Would you want to find out about the death of a loved one because their vehicle (or more) was displayed across social media channels/platforms? These pictures also have the power to haunt EMS personnel and first responders and trigger emotional and mental setbacks for years to come. The distraction of taking pictures or recordings and rubber-necking are extremely dangerous for first responders at accident scenes. We are focussed on the scene and might not put all of our awareness into ensuring our safety properly on the roadway. We need you to do that for us. Keep your eyes front, follow directional signals, and watch your speed. Put your phones away. Have respect for everyone at the scene, victims and emergency services alike. Keep us safe, please.
Our deepest sympathies go out to all of the Saskpower employees. These men and women work along side of emergency services on a lot of scenes to make sure scenes are safe for us. Our hearts collectively break at their tragic loss.
Lampman Fire and Rescue responded to two field fires on Monday afternoon. The first was quickly extinguished with the help of local farmers with discers. The second was much larger and required the help of Estevan Fire and Stoughton Fire. Also a huge thank you to local farmers that brought out equipment to help too!

Under guidance from the SHA (Saskatchewan Health Authority), please be aware that if you call 911 and request an ambulance, our staff will be requesting that you accept a surgical mask from us and apply it immediately. Policies and procedures are in place, and frequently being modified, to best keep our Paramedics and our patients as safe as possible. For example, only one paramedic may enter your home (with their partner remaining at the door) and if appropriate, they may c...omplete their verbal assessment at a distance. If the situation is emergent, we will still do what needs to be done regardless of distancing guidelines. Please also be aware that if a situation arises that requires us to don our full protective equipment, we may need to leave the residence momentarily and return when it has been applied. These are little changes from our previous norm, but we ask that you be understanding during this time.
In the early morning hours of March 24 Lampman Fire & Rescue was called to a residential fire in Lampman. Upon arrival, the fire had already spread to the adjacent residence. All occupants had evacuated safely. The cause of the fire is unknown at this time.
Due to lack of cleaning supplies at stores all over, please do not attempt to make home remedies for cleaning solutions. This can turn out to be very dangerous.
We don’t change our clocks, but this is a reminder to check your smoke alarm batteries.

Yesterday was hard but the true depth of the day didnt hit me until about 6am this morning. Sure makes you cherish moments a bit more. I do want to say and plea...se share this. SLOW DOWN! When you come across a sign that says Emergency Scene Ahead at any point between that sign and the flashing lights of emergency crew at the scene there can be a firefighter or police officer directing traffic or stopping traffic. It may be early into the scene call so we haven't had a chance to get all of our flashing lights (safety equipment)up yet for our traffic control. It's scary directing traffic on our highway and I get that it's easy to get tunnel vision when you see the flashing lights at the scene but I'm in bright reflective yellow after a precautionary emergency scene ahead sign I'm Holding a reflective stop sign and 3 times I had to jump out of the way of vehicles. Please be smart, go slow and dont get tunnel vision. Be aware people. I'm not volunteering my life because you're in a hurry. I would like to say a huge thank you to Carlyle Fire Department who stayed and took over traffic control on our east side, thank you to Carlyle RCMP and the Estevan and Weyburn members also on scene. You were a pleasure to work with. Thank you to Flying G trucking for your pilot vehicles and men that stuck it out and helped with traffic control. Thank you to those first on the scene, EMR and civilians that's tough to come across on your way to work. Lastly thank you to my fellow figherfighters from Kisbey! See more
At approximately 8 am this morning Lampman Fire & Rescue was called to the scene of a 2 vehicle collision south of Lampman. 2 of the 5 occupants were transported to hospital for further assessment.
Spent the last weekend providing the Farm Accident Rescue program to members from the following Saskatchewan Fire Departments. Lampman, Alameda and Redvers. Spe...cial thanks to Tip Top Metals of Alameda for providing the equipment, and classroom. Without the support from folks like the great people at Tip Top, programs like this are difficult to make happen. Great class with fire departments giving back to there community and being prepared for accidents that may happen in these farming communities.. See more
