The series on ‘An Introduction Into Spiritual Gifts’ just finished, and boy - it was a good one; (focussing heavily on us as individuals, and what that may look like gift wise.) TESTIMONY (evidence or proof provided by the existence or appearance of something.) There is a weight - a responsibility attached to these words... Don’t let anyone tell you testimony is not important. It is very important! Testimony goes deeper than our appearance, or our church attendance. I am talking about who we are, how we act, what we say...especially in our day to day lives....Especially when others are not watching...! It reminds me of this quote by Paul Gilbe...rt: ‘You are writing a Gospel, A chapter each day, By deeds that you do, By words that you say. . FREE movie night, this Friday night. Come and be inspired!

It doesn’t get old.. Sunday’s are special, and today was no exception. We enjoyed fellowship with some visitors, a great word of encouragement from our friend Brian and finished the day sharing dinner and the gospel message with our community! We might not be related.. but because of the cross, we are family!

Today was bittersweet. We enjoyed worship and communion together as we contemplated what happened at the cross where Jesus died for us. This is always such a special time but today we were missing our dear Sarah. We were comforted though, with words of encouragement from our our friend Hugh. Sadly, Hugh, will be leaving us, as he is relocating to Markham. We are going to miss Hugh and his godly presence in our little assembly so although many were away, we got a great shot together. @ Lampstand Bolton Christian Church
