The Lennox & Addington County Autism Network has supplied Emergency Services and O.P.P. with response kits for those who may need a little extra help with tough...er situations. The kits are designed to provide comfort and ease to people when things could become very hectic. The agencies involved welcome these kits as a new emergency tool in an effort to deal with a variety of situations as they arise. The presentation was attended by representatives from LAC Autism Network, Greater Napanee Emergency Services, Ontario Provincial Police - East Region, Community Living, and sponsors No Frills and L&A Mutual Insurance Co. Ten truck loads of non-perishable food items, personal hygiene products and fresh produce were delivered to the Morningstar Mission and the Salvation Army Food Bank after the Food Drive last Thursday.
