***Monday Musings*** Please tell me it’s not just me?? I am notorious for this....I’m not sure what exactly it is that I am doing in the three seconds between when I ask this question and when they tell me, but obviously it’s something super important ... Faces and voices I rarely forget, but if I ever run into you and don’t introduce you to someone I am with, now you know why! Please just introduce yourself to them, and then maybe we can both remember your name Any tips on how to remember someone’s name? I promise to study your profile pic along with your FB name, so I can remember who gave me the great advice

***Wanderlust Wednesday*** My travel bucket list is big one. Big. HUGE. (Anyone else have the Pretty Woman scene running through their mind now?) And while for now my winter holidays require hauling baseball equipment on a plane or loading the vehicle up with hockey equipment for a tournament the next province over, I am convinced (delusional?) that I will check every location off my list eventually. (Surely the boys will repay me for getting them around to all their events b...y jetting me off to all the pretty and exciting places, right? Right ) Santorini is at the top of my list.....all the gorgeous pictures with the white buildings against the pretty blue water make me drool. The engineer in me also gets a little bit of a rush from studying all the photos.....if I was giddy over the new bridge built across the river here in my city, imagine the excitement of studying an entire village built into the side of a cliff! Hector will probably have looong retired by the time I get there, but if there is any chance he is still around and up and running, I just might sell off some of that hockey equipment to pay for a night in a cave. (Says the girl who is sometimes scared to sleep in the basement )

***Travel Tip Tuesday** Me? I take as much on the plane as I am allowed, and then some. The biggest 'personal article' that I can find (with a purse tucked inside) and an expandable carry on go with me to my seat. Two suitcases (again, one expandable - and empty - for the flight home) are my checked baggage. Do I use everything that I take? Never. Are they full coming back? You betcha!... If I could master this one backpack carry on thing, and ship any goodies home (for probably the same price as extra checked baggage costs), there might be a whole lot less cursing as I am lugging everything through the airport. Will I ever implement this? Probably not. After all, it is unfair to take that kind of entertainment - me maneuvering from the baggage claim to my mode of transportation with all my stuffed suitcases - away from all the fine people who have paid to sit there and people watch But it's nice to have a dream, and maybe....just maybe, one day I will be the one doing the giggling

***Motley Mondays*** Hope this one makes you smile as much as it did me! I must have hit replay twenty times in a row on this one. Not because the girl on the right totally reminds me of one of my best friends growing up (you know who you are, and you know you still have the same awesome, refined moves ), but because I wish everyone could go through life with the same exuberance as the middle cutie (me included ). Imagine how much less stress there would be if everybody cou...ld let go, stop in their tracks, and dance with all that they had Here’s hoping your Monday was great....go out and disco through the rest of your week like the little gem in the middle

***Motley Mondays*** I don't imagine this will even slightly deter all my fellow DC diehards from ordering (and I know there are a lot of you - we are a fierce and loyal group!). The first sip is always worth its wait in fizz (See what I did there....wait/weight? Yes, maybe it is too late in the day for me to be doing this ) For the record, I have been given the entire can many times in the past. I always thought it was because of my impeccable manners, and my friendly, da...zzling smile Any other Diet Coke fanatics out there who have won the pop lottery by getting the whole can? Surely I can't be the only one who flashes that winning smile
