Happy thanksgiving weekend LandRock family. We are in full winterizing mode and would like to take a second to remind everyone of the dangers of winterizing yourself. New installs through LandRock lawn sprinklers will VOID your warranty if you winterize yourself or use a different company as we will not know if it was done correctly. ... It is advised that you leave it to a professional irrigation Technician to winterize your sprinklers. If you insist on winterizing your own system please keep these precautions in mind! - Always check to make sure the WATER is OFF to the sprinklers. - Make sure you have at least 1 valve open before introducing pressurized air to the system - Never introduce more than 80psi to your sprinklers - Don’t let the last valve close while pressurized air is in the system. - Always have multiple shut off’s and emergency disconnects on your air source. - ensure all fittings are tight. Please keep in mind that it is not the pressure alone that gets the water out as it works with the volume of air you can push through to ensure the water is out of the a system. After winterizing is complete we recommend leaving a valve (zone) open during the winter so that you will know if somone in your household has opened the main water valve over the winter. We are still taking on new clients for winterizing but only have a couple weeks left.
