We joined students at Douglas College and the Coordinator of Disability and Community Studies Department to learn about people with exceptionalities who lived in Woodlands Institution. We then visited the Woodlands Memorial Garden that remembers the people who died while living at Woodlands. This field trip grounds us in our values of inclusion and supporting diverse individuals in schools.
