Also a note about B Tryouts: As you are aware, Langford Fastball B team tryouts normally take place in early to mid-January. Unfortunately, under current restrictions, tryouts are not being allowed by viaSport/Softball BC. We will hold B tryouts as soon as we are permitted by these bodies and provincial health orders - please watch our website and facebook page for updates

Dibs are up for pitching clinics, this week and next. Remember, you must sign up in order to show up! No drop ins allowed. Mask are mandatory and please remember to sanitize!

Pitching Clinics Langford Fastball has secured indoor space at JDF on the turf for pitching clinics on Thursday in December 3rd, 10th and 17th. These first three clinics will be for pitchers who played with Langford Fastball in the 2020 season, who have already had some game experience and wish to get some practice in prior to tryouts in January. We will have more clinics in the new year for players who have never tried pitching but wish to give it a try.... Times for the clinics are as follow: 5:30 to 6:20 will be for U10/U12 players 6:30 to 7:20 will be for U14 and up Each pitcher must bring their own catcher. Any peer catchers must be wearing protective gear. All players and catchers must wear face masks while entering and exiting the facility as well as while practicing. Clinics are limited to 12 pitchers and 12 catchers and the 2 instructors. Pitchers are required to sign up each week on Dibs through the website. No spectators allowed to stay and watch. This rule must be followed in order for us to be allowed to continue to practice. Please ensure you sanitize upon entering and exiting and follow the arrows while inside the facility. CANCELLED - Field Maintenance/Park Cleanup - November 21st Due to the restrictions currently in place, we will not be gathering at the park tomorrow to do field clean-up. We will schedule another date in the future when we are permitted to do so. Stay safe! And remember, be kind!
