This past week I rose in the House of Commons to advocate for the SkyTrain extension to Langley. We need to cut down commuter congestion and make housing more affordable. A SkyTrain to Langley is the key to doing just that.

Remembrance Day is going to look different this year. However, we can still participate in Remembrance Day ceremonies online and take time to remember and honour those who sacrificed so much for us.

One of the best things about my visit to the zoo was being able to feed the giraffes! This was second only to learning about their wonderful new program to than...k our healthcare workers. The GVZoo will be giving free entry to Doctors, Nurses, Care Aides, Paramedics and other healthcare workers so they can have some well-deserved fun and relaxation. See more

My 87 year old Father in particular remembers many details of living through WW 2 in Rotterdam; especially the bombing of the city 81 years ago tomorrow. He and his family escaped to a neighbour's basement. The skies were black as night. My 82 year old mother never tasted sugar (and a lot of other "normal" foods until she was 6 years old. As we live through these Covid19 days, we still have so much to be grateful for, especially in British Columbia. Young ones cannot fathom the horrors of the war years. God bless you! Irene

Just a heads up, that means each of us taxpayers on average will have to pay at least $13,400 MORE in federal taxes to cover this deficit. Or the government can borrow the money and leave it to our kids and grand kids to pay off. Don't want to come across as tone deaf, but just being a good Conservative and planning for the future.
