In this week's episode, we are listening to Nevin Koshy, who serves the Lord here at Langstaff with his family. His message is entitled "Jesus and The Crippled Woman" and is based off of Luke 13.
Last evening, April 21, 2021, the Langstaff Assembly enjoyed celebrating the baptism of Jiyoon Jeon. Jiyoon was asked to share a verse that has touched her, encouraged her and given meaning to her life. She provided: And if God cares so wonderfully for flowers that are here today and thrown into the fire tomorrow, he will certainly care for you. Why do you have so little faith. Luke 12:28 "When I feel worthless in this world, God says that he cares about me more than the flowers that will be burnt the next day. When God says that he cares about me, then who else can say that I’m worthless. God makes my life worthy, when I rejoice and suffer for him. God gave my life a purpose of serving him so that I can be used for His every good work. It’s so wonderful that God who is in the high place cares enough to use me for his own purpose."

The churches at Langstaff and Lansing will be hosting an online Easter Missionary Conference, April 2-3, 2021. Morning sessions only, beginning at 10 AM ET. We are looking forward to hearing from Phil Barnes (MSC Canada). Phil and Marilyn Barnes were commended to the Lord’s work in 1985, serving first in Northern Ontario and then Zimbabwe for about 10 years. Phil has been Executive Director of MSC for nine years, and Marilyn serves as a WorkerCare Rep staying in touch with workers in Africa and sensitive areas - continuing to serve Zimbabwe through her Zimbabwe Assistant Program (ZAP) and annual trips there. They have three married daughters and five grandchildren. #emconf21 @langstaffassembly @lansing_gospelhall
