Over the last few months I've had to come to terms with the utter failure at my first attempt at launching a language related business. I say first as I'll try again. . I took sometime to reboot and refocus on a different path. My original business @_languagelounge was meant to facilitate regular in real life language gatherings and events in the community. . I really hate when people are quick to defend the sreaight up laziness of others with the "limited resources" excuse. I know very well what that is actually like yet I found a way to learn a language by sunlight, candlelight & a kerosene lamp. . If you look closely you'll see a blue piece sticking out of the sand, that was my water source. (Though I didn't drink from it.) My toilet was the bucket you see in the corner. (I can't very well go out in the middle of the night or ...rush over to the neighbor's house and demand to be let in.) I'm sorry I don't have a video of the trek I had to take to get to internet. This was not the worst situation in the world bjt I imagine it's pretty close to what is meant by "limited resources". So I say to you all, at least towards me, spare me the crap, I've walked miles in the shoes of one with limited resources. .
