The Comics, Not Otherwise Specified, are: Michael McCreary, Adam Schwartz, Pat Tiffin and Curran Dobbs, comedians who also happen to be on the spectrum. These amazing and talented comics present four very unique styles and all of them make you laugh uproariously! One of the comics is Michael McCreary from Orangeville Ontario h...as performed twice for us in the past - Wu Centre and again at the Charlotte Street Arts Centre. We welcome Michael back to Frederiction even if just his virtual self. We are very grateful to the organizers of "Comedy on Lockdown" Outfox Magazine, for supporting us as a portion of the proceeds will go to support activities at Autism Connections Fredericton. We are Hosting a Digital Christmas Special "Christmas at Home"with Ian Foster & Nancy Hynes It's going to be a live-stream but Ian & Nancy wanted it to look and sound REALLY great with multiple cameras, multiple mics, lights, etc...so they said, "let's pre-tape it"! Then they thought "if we pre-tape the show, we can pick a cool location, and safely invite some of our friends to perform too ...... They then realized they were dreaming up a "Digital Christmas Special: A Christmas at Home with Ian and Nancy." The concert was shot in downtown St. John's in the taproom of the Bannerman Brewery. With a baby grand piano in tow, they recorded what they like to play at Christmas time when they get home from touring for the holidays and join their friends. You'll hear Ian and Nancy, plus their very special guests Jerry Stamp, Melanie O'Brien, Brian Way, and the Laing kids! During the show, guests will be welcome to participate in the Chat feature, comment, and interact (because it's more fun if you do!). Ian and Nancy will pop on the screen before and after the show (in real time, on webcam), but will be commenting in text on the chat feature throughout the show - YouTube has a live chat feature. THE JESSICA RHAYE TRIO A REAL LIVE CONCERT WITH A LIVE AUDIENCE An Afternoon Concert on the Summer Solstice Now that NB has moved to more relaxed regulations (the yellow phase), we were able to organize an outdoor concert on Saturday (June 20th) performed by the fabulous Jessica Rhaye Trio for 40 very happy guests. We had 10 "worker bees" including the band so it was a perfect number! Our hosts, Jeff Campbell and Colleen O'Connell, have a beautiful home on Keswick Ridge ov...erlooking the Mactaquac River valley. Jeff and Colleen have always enthusiastically supported musicians and were keen to have us give it a try after weeks of virtual concerts. How could we refuse? The deck at the back of their home served as our stage and as usual we had Allan Robinson on hand to create a wonderful sound experience. The setting was Covid-copacetic with markers in the lawn to indicate safe places to sit, everyone brought their own chairs and food or drink, there were stations available for hand sanitization and signage creating a one way route to the washroom. Masks were worn when people left their bubbles. Jessica was accompanied by her long-time band mates, Sandy Mackay (upright bass) and Bill Preeper (acoustic and electric guitar). Jessica performed a number of her own songs and some of her fabulous Dylan covers, but she also shared the stage with Sandy and Bill who each took turns presenting songs they have written. Both are strong songwriters and perfectly complimented Jessica's songs. Jessica is an award winning artist who has 6 full-length CDs. Her most recent was released last year and is entitled "Just lIke a Woman - Songs of Bob Dylan". The sun shone, the bugs were asleep, and lovely gentle breezes wafted over the grounds cooling everyone. The music flowed gracefully over the lush grounds and even their family dog relaxed on the grass to listen. Our first outdoor concert was sublime!

A VIRTUAL HOUSE CONCERT CHRISTINA MARTIN with DALE MURRAY TUESDAY, JUNE 2nd, 7PM... Lansdowne Concert Series is joining with Side Door Access to offer a virtual Lansdowne concert with one of our most cherished East Coast artists - Christina Martin. Virtual concerts have become the order of the day for "live" music because of the need to maintain social distance during the COVID-19 pandemic. For musicians this has meant a significant loss of livelihood due to cancellation of live concerts. This show will be streamed via ZOOM to you from Christina's home in Port Howe Nova Scotia on Tuesday evening, June 2nd, beginning at 7PM (ADT) and ending about 8PM. Of course, Christina will be accompanied by her well-known musician, producer, and husband, Dale Murray. Join us for our (and their) first Virtual House Concert on Tuesday June 2nd at 7PM. ABOUT THE SHOW Your concert fee of $10 per person will allow you to join our private live concert from the comfort of your home. This will be a private event for a LIMITED NUMBER of Lansdowne ticket holders. The Zoom platform allows the artist to see and interact with the audience making the experience a bit more personal than some forms of streaming. TICKETS: $10 per person - we leave it to up you to determine the number of viewers from your home. Jeff Liberty - CBC Saint John Everything she does is just so good, and if it’s possible, it just keeps getting better. I kind of envision Christina, as a female Roy Orbison meets Chrissie Hynde from The Pretenders all that power and the passion.

The Storm The Storm is the first collaboration for two outstanding East Coast singer-songwriters: Tara MacLean and Catherine MacLellan. It celebrates front line workers along with many artists and all of us who miss connecting with friends and loved ones in person. This video is an absolutely beautiful tribute and what great harmonies.
