This is the process and completion of the back pack that I made for my son. As you can see, he really likes his new bag.

This is a blanket that I crocheted for a friend as a baby gift.

I have in mind to do a small back-pack for a toddler made of jeans. I am thinking of either doing a zipper or a drawstring with a flapover top. And for the straps, I am thinking of doing one shoulder strap versus two straps.Any other ideas of these two?

Do any of you ladies like purses? how about a jean purse? What style do you like; big or small or medium sized purse? How about embelishes? Or just a plain purse?

What do you do with with your jeans? Do you throw them out when they are worn out? How do you like to recycle them instead?
