Apple stores over charging for repairs. 3 days ago I had similar story and my customer put this review for me: "Great experience! Was told by Best Buy and Apple that my Macbook's motherboard was fried and was basically forced to either get it replaced for $1000 (entire Apple Care warranty was apparently void bc of a small crack in the screen glass), or buy a brand new computer for $2000. My computer was only 2 years old, so I was VERY upset and skeptical that the computer could die this fast. Took it to Laptop Doctor and he had it up and running in an hour... and for under $100!!
