Anyone else skipping past those Facebook memories from a year ago as quickly as possible? Or is that just me? I’m trying to stay in a blissful state of sipping coffee, and staring at my beautiful clients as I work on their photos. So the memories of how our world changed so quickly last year can go kick rocks xx

Daylight savings has returned therefore golden hour season is here! I can’t wait to document all the love in front of all the west coast sunsets! How are all you lovers doing today? We have been enjoying the recent snowfall with sledding on our local hill, and staying cozy by the fire with hot coco and good movies. I don’t usually make a fuss over this holiday, but I couldn’t help it when capturing this cute as button couple for a little v-day session ... I also discovered that making a balloon garland isn’t that hard! But keeping it down and staying put in the wind can be a bit tricky I hope all of you have had a lovely day! Can you say obsessed? I certainly can! When Dylan told me they wanted to do a photo session in the middle of an old growth forest west of Port Renfrew, I immediately said IM SO DOWN We then thought up this little set up, drove two hours plus to Avatar Grove, hiked up to a dry river bed, aaaaaaand Magic! ... Oh and Dylan popped the question to Atisa, and they said yes! - check my stories for a little peek of how soecial that moment was I can still smell the cedar and the giant reishi Atisa foraged I feel so fortunate to live on this big island and explore new places while creating memories for others at the same time. It’s just the best Get used to these images because I’ll definitely be sharing more from this wonderful session xx

The perks of living on the west coast? Beach sessions all year round I loved this couples session with Dalyce & Graham. The two of them really leaned into my direction and became naturals in front the camera.... We shared a lot of laughs on this day, and it’s a session I’ll definitely never forget. This session is another good example of how it’s not just about the finished product, but the entire experience xx
