Not only Pushkin’s main character from Eugene Oneguine - Tatiana’s day on January 25th is considered Student’s day. In fact it’s cmmemorating the foundation of Lomonossov University - mydad studied at this prestigious university. On my side I’ve been a professional long term student I first studied at Geneva University as a teenager, then at Lausanne’s University in parallel to the Lausanne’s Conservatory, and finally at Geneva’s Consevatory (today called HEM - Haute Ecole de Musique) so Tatiana’s party has always been an important day . The most important however was probably in 2018 when I’ve performed my first Tchaikovsky’s Tatiana on a January 25th.
