Do you ever meet someone and you know right away that you want to be friends with them? You just get a sense that they’re your kind of person? That happened to me on Friday when I met the lovely owner of Sage and Tree Gallery at 3-625 Cliffe Ave. In Courtenay. I received a very nice shop tour with an introduction and short bio about each of the artists and got a chance to really look at all the beautiful artisan pieces. Theresa is a kind and gentle soul, and I’m pleased to say that she thought my product was good enough to have in her store! If you are interested in my natural, essential oil room and linen sprays, or Dead Sea bath salts, gorgeous pottery from Gabriola Island, First Nations jewellery or hand knit shawls, head down to Sage and Tree Gallery. I’ve been asked to make a series of cards for boys. I’m not sure why, but I find boy cards challenging to make. Maybe it’s because I’m a girl momma, or maybe it’s because I’m just more attracted to florals, pinks, lavender and girl patterns. However, this evening I sat down and focused. This is what we came up with. From our Outta This World Series.

Finally getting around to posting some photos after getting the page set up. Thank you Amelia for saving your mom’s non technical butt! It’s a bit late now for Valentines Day cards (guys..... did you remember?), but I thought I’d post some anyway, in the spirit of tomorrow being a day of love.
