It was so nice to treat this crew to a shoot and by crew I obviously mean the Mama lol. Menfolk love having portraits taken. Such a beautiful family and blue to mach these gorgeous hydrangeas.

So this is happening for the months of July and August! I will be posting Share Contest for both months so there is a session up to win for both! Here is July! I don't know about you guys but with everything that is going on in the world right now I have never been more proud to be a Canadian. We live in the most unbelievably beautiful place with the coolest people. In these Summer Mini Sessions I am offering two options. {One} Take me to your favourite Beautiful Briti...sh Columbia summer hang and let me capture you and your crew documentary style doing the awesome things that you do. We can include posed images as well but lots of raw authentic who you are as Canadians too. {TWO} Similar to what I have been shooting as of late, park or green space style summer sessions. As we have entered phase three feel free to book with extended family and include the grandparents. People ask me all the time if they need to pay more to include other family members. I love all my photo sessions but I was particularly happy to do this one. This is my Uncle Norm and his ridiculously beautiful power house of a woman Marylin. She is basically everything I intend my future self to be. She also has three children, two girls and a boy, the same as me and seeing them all together with their grandchildren is like taking a possible peek into what I am hoping is my glorious future as a mother and grandmother. They are so fun and you can just feel how much they enjoy each other's company. Marylin is an avid kayaker, hiker and adventurous fearless traveller and her and my uncle Norm have such a beautiful life together. The team these two are is basically Jeff and my life goals. Just living the hell out of the length and the width of their lives. You guys are awesome.

So this beautiful woman is the daughter of one of my dearest friends. Once upon a time she was a tiny little bundle of sass and I have told her the Bubbayaga story such an unbelievable amount of times that I honed it into a true masterpiece. This kid was so hardcore she would blissfully fall asleep and I would spend the rest of the night jumping at every sound and just generally awaiting my impending death at the giant hands of a likely real monster of slavic folklore. So this little girl grew up as they do and now she is this truly inside and out stunning beauty with a sweet baby of her own. Cue the snot running down my face as I paint light in photoshop through teary eyes as my children look on in both shame and horror lol. But seriously I love this girl so and these photos and watching her be a mama just makes my heart sore.

This is my girl Kellie and let me tell you, she's all that and a bag of chips when it comes to digging down deep and truly getting in touch with your heart and soul. Her mentorship programs aim to uncover your authentic self through soul alignment, and confidence building experiences that will have you cultivating every desire you have for your beautiful life in this world. Newly located grove of big blue hydrangeas are just killing me right now. This crew was dressed for them and didn't even know it. This gorgeous family braved the enormous Mission mosquito thugs with me to get some dreamy golden light and I think it was worth every bite. Give them some love!

I was so pleased and so very honoured to get to bear witness to this beautiful celebration of family and love. To think that this initial spark between these two sweethearts is what created all the people there to celebrate their love and 50 years of marriage. Needless to say I ugly cried my ass off while editing these photos. These are the things people dream about and this lovely set is living it. Cheers to many more anniversaries to come!

This was the smiliest little ham of a baby and I had the pleasure of capturing all her waves and giggles during this shoot. Her parents are so blessed. The phantom limb that is my uterus has been screaming basically since they went home lol.

Look at this dreamy crew! The Monastery is top notch if you're looking for that 'just chilling' in the rural english countryside' minus that whole travelling to England thing. Such a lovely afternoon wandering with this fam hunting for the perfect backdrop in fake England. Give them some love! PS I have totally convinced my kids that this little fellow is actually Biggie from The Norris Nuts youtube fame. They are now labouring under the false information that he is actu...ally a young Canadian actor and that their favourite youtube family is sitting on a throne of lies. I am hoping this buys me at least two weeks without having to listen to detailed accounts of what their family is up to. What is that meme? Does it feel like you can die from listening to your kids telling you about stuff they saw on youtube because it feels like it could lol. See more

Gangs all here! I love these sessions! Get the whole 'fam-damily' together in a place that weaves a thread through all your hearts and ties you all together in an easy, peasy, dreamy summer-time series of moments of family love. This is one loved Grandma to have all her people plan this special time for her in a place so dear to her heart.

Finn was so fun to shoot and I love all the angles and lines to shoot along up at the monastery. What a great kid! I can see why so many people wanted him to win the session. Such a polite and kind young man. Congrats of your graduation Finn! I am sure you are on to great things in your life!

This was so cool. These are three generations of the McGrath Family. Yes that road in Chilliwack. Their grandfather and great-grandfather ran the Agassi Ferry until the Bridge was built. On the Fraser River with the Bridge in the background was the perfect location to capture this happy trio. Complete with three generations of hands holding old photos of the ferry. So happy to have been involved in capturing this bit of Fraser Valley history.
