During this Rememberance Period we Remember the fallen, Some of you may not know but I am a Memorial Cross Widow, my husband served Canada in the Canadian Armed Forces for 23 years and died while serving, His death is attributed to service, myself and my two daughters were presented with the Silver Cross in 2012 as the Gift from Canada. During this time, "lest we forget" not only the fallen but the presently serving CF members , the Veterans both living and deceased. Thanking them for their service is important, Freedom is not free....
