Naturally, Andy the Heron is voting Green on Tuesday. Are you?
UBC study shows clearly that BC Greens are light-years ahead of the other parties for improving the lives of British Columbians under age 45
Excellent letter in the Optimist, and the lawn sign in Ladner created from re-useable materials by ML Burke. So many pics of me/me/me/me/me! http://www.delta-optimist.com//following-conscience-and-vo
Very sad, but shining example of how the Greens are the only party with vision, foresight and real compassion http://www.straight.com//vancouver-homeless-campers-say-li
At the All-Candidates Meeting last Saturday, Liberal candidate Ian Paton twice told the crowd that the proposed mega-bridge will be built to include a rail line. In fact, the plans show only an HOV/bus lane. If built as planned, the design and cost of the bridge will preclude passenger rail (rapid transit) to South Delta and beyond for decades - if not forever. At the same meeting, and for the second time, our 'defender of farmland' flatly denied that in 2014 the Liberal government gave farming and industrial use equal weight for 90% of BC's Agricultural Land Reserve, even though he had received proof from me that this was true. See: http://wcel.org//bill-24-agricultural-land-commission-amen Please inform your friends and followers who are planning to vote Liberal that their candidate for Delta South has little regard for the truth.
NDP here in Delta South also making false claim that they are the only alternative to the BC Liberals. Ridiculous, considering both Green and Independent options. NDP is just more of the same old partisan politics in Victoria. Read this excellent piece by Adriane Carr. http://www.cbc.ca//if-you-care-about-climate-change-it-s-t
Are folks concerned about vote-splitting actually worried it will harm the Liberals??? The pollster reports: The Greens seem to be gaining from different parties in different parts of the province." "In Greater Vancouver, the Greens are taking more from the Liberals than the NDP.
