Here are some tips to help avoid the client's eyes from getting red during application: Make sure Eye pads are taped down properly (not too high up/placed smoothly)-this is to ensure no fumes from the adhesive can slip into the eye Use a good quality adhesive- Using a good quality adhesive is extremely important especially because we are working so close to the eye. Poor quality adhesive may have ingredients that cause Irritation and stronger fumes leading to irritation ...and discomfort for the client. Keep your room humidity above 40%. Lash adhesive dries quicker the more humidity that is in the air. If you are working in a low humidity environment the adhesive is not fully curing (polymerizing) therefore leaving lingering fumes in the air, causing more Irritation for you and your client Fluttering Eyes-You can do everything above but your client's eyes will still flutter or open mid lashing Take a thin but long piece of tape and place it over the eyelid and attaching each end below where the eye open (literally taping the eye shut). Now no fumes should enter the eyes! Do you have any tips?

Close up of a volume fan wrapping around a lash . Each fan is hand made at your appointment and then wrapped around the natural lash. You have approximately 70-150 lashes EACH eye! That's why it takes so long . .... To wrap the fan by placing it on top Line the bases up, Very gently "wiggle" base back and fourth to get the lashes to WRAP around the natural lash.
