This year at , we’ve decided to sponsor a family for Christmas and we want to get you guys involved! As we all know, it takes a (socially distanced) village. Our specific sponsorship this year is through the @mamasformamas . We will be providing food, treats and presents for a single Mama and her two boys. Over the course of the next few weeks I will be re-sharing this photo and challenging local businesses to get in...volved and help provide a dreamy, magical Christmas for this family. We do have a wish list from the family, but to keep things simple we are challenging you to a cash donation (even just $10 is amazing) and then to challenge someone else. The more the merrier!! - @., : . If we manage to go above and beyond what is needed for this family, the remainder of the money will be used to: 1. Purchase toys for the Kelowna Santa’s toy drive 2. Stocking Stuffers for Seniors put on by @londondrugs 3. Purchase and provide blankets and warm outerwear for the homeless. The good we can spread here is endless and honestly just warms my heart. This year has been a struggle for so many. Let’s fill the end of it with joy, shall we? @ Lashes by Laisa
Stay close to people who feel like sunshine.
Not pictured: my 3 triple word scores that I managed to slay on this board !! I grew up playing Scrabble with my Mom and my Grandma but I hadn’t played in what seemed like years. We ended up borrowing my parents board a few weeks ago and shortly after decided to buy our own. Such a nice way to spend time together, just the two of us after the little guy is in bed, rather than just the regular Netflix or movie. Now I’m on the hunt for a rotating Scrabble board... because I am extra like that. So if anyone has one they’d be okay parting with, please let me know. What are your favourite board games? See more
If your lashes look like the ones in front or swipe the ones on the right in the second photo, this means . When you start to shed lashes, try and take notice of what they look like! Honestly, even if they haven’t shed yet and they are still attached to your natural lash, they should still look like the lashes in the back of the first photo and on the left of the second photo. You can see each individual, super fine volume lash in each single fan. Wh...en your lash fans get oil, dust, makeup or sweat on them they start to close up and clump together, resulting in this crunchy, wet look. ! Once you wash them (with a proper cleanser.. not just water people!) they will open back up and become full and fluffy again. You can also see that the bases of the old fans have become a bit more chunky. This can be due to build up. If you need a cleanser, I have some in stock. Besides better retention, I literally cannot stress enough the importance of keeping your eyes and lashes clean. @ Lashes by Laisa See more
I’m feeling heavy today. Unsettled. Unsure of what’s to come and the direction that the world is moving in. But I’m healthy, warm and the sun is shining. I’ll take that as a win. @ Lashes by Laisa

Happy Monday my babes! ... : @annakovaphotographycommercial See more
I feel like 90% of the time I’m either lashing or on my phone doing lash related things. Not that I don’t love it. But it’s a lot sometimes. One of the things that I need to work on is to be on my phone a little less. Tricky when you’re running a business that requires a lot of screen time (scheduling, chatting with clients, planning content, researching, ordering products, the list goes on and on) but it’s so necessary as it gets very consuming. How do you balance s...creen time when running a business? : @annakovaphotographycommercial See more
You asked and I listened. You now have the opportunity to purchase your lash fills in packages! % ... % If you know you’re going to keep up your lash habit (I mean really, who isn’t ) you might as well save a bit of money on your end. You’re welcome. Merry early Christmas to you. See more
Currently cuddled up on my couch with the fire going, getting in some online, local Christmas shopping. This is for sure a Sunday Mood.
Hybrid’s are taking over! I think hybrid has been the most popular lash style over the last few months. At least for my girls. For those who don’t know, it’s a of volume and classic lashes. , yet not over-powering. It totally depends on the look you’re going for, but I highly recommend this style if you’re not quite sure how natural or dramatic you like your lashes yet. I don’t know about you, but I’m here for it! side note: how bomb are her brows?
Volume transformation on this Saturday morning. Swipe for the before. I’m so ready for a cozy weekend with my little fam. Board games, movies and Christmas shopping are all that I would like to accomplish over the next couple of days. Almost everything that I’ve bought so far has been from Canadian small businesses! Share with me your favourite small shops below please. @ Lashes by Laisa
Light hybrid with a little flick at the end. Lashes certainly don’t always have to be big and full! But regardless of the style they make every morning easier.
