Do extensions make your natural lashes fall out? When people ask me what I do for work and I tell them, I am still getting that question, so let’s clear it up!! No, extensions that are applied correctly do not make your eyelashes fall out. As you can see in this picture, the extension does grow out with your natural lash. At your fill, we remove that grown out extension and put a new one on closer to the base. Yes, your eyelashes have a natural cycle of growth and naturally ...fall out when they finish that cycle! Things that cause your eyelashes to fall out prematurely: picking or pulling at your lashes,scrubbing mascara off, eyelash curlers, sleeping on your face. And yes, extensions if they are too heavy or long for the natural lash, or if more than one natural lash is glued together. Please do your research before getting extensions and choosing your lash artist. And please, please listen to them if they tell you that your lashes will not support a certain look.
