THE WAIT IS FINALLY OVER! Yes the good news has FINALLY come in and we will be reopening at our TEMPORARY Orangeville location on Tuesday. We will still have to wait for the Peel Region announcement next week to see when we may be able to reopen in Brampton.... Now for rescheduling we know you are just as excited as we are to get your lashes back on and brows tamed but it is going to take us a few days to contact everyone on our priority booking list for scheduling. Please be patient we promise you will hear from us over the next few days. If you had an appointment cancelled due to the closure your name is on the priority list. If you have already sent us a message or filled out the priority waitlist on our website, you are also on the list. If you DID NOT have an appointment that was affected, send us a message, or fill out the priority booking form on our website. PLEASE DO SO ASAP! DAMAGE Let's talk about it. Can it happen? YES Should it happen? NO If we look at this clients lashes we can see CLEAR signs of damage. ... -broken lashes -gaps in the lash line -thinned out lashes This client came to us with this damage from a previous person. Begging to have extensions put on to cover the gaps and damage she had. Even with volume lashes, due to the state of her natural lashes we were only able to cover some of those gaps. Yes it was much better than what she came in with, but no where near perfect. When lash extensions are applied correctly you will NOT have damage to your natural lashes. Unfortunately though, if your extensions are applied incorrectly. You most likely will end up with damage! So what should you look out for when choosing to get lash extensions? 1. PHOTOS - you should throughly go through their social media and check out their work. Do a lot of their photos have filters on them? RED FLAG Zoom into the photos, can you see excessive glue use? RED FLAG Are their clients eyes red or irritated in photos? RED RED FLAG 2. PRICE - are they priced significantly lower than others in the area? RED FLAG Are we saying more expensive automatically means better quality? No, sometimes pricing doesn't reflect quality of work. BUT if it seems like too good of a deal it most likely is. 3. TIMING - are they booking you in for a full set in under an hour? RED RED RED FLAG Lashing takes patience and time. If they are applying them correctly most will have Full Sets scheduled for at LEAST an hour and a half. Any less and most likely they are not isolating your natural lashes which will cause damage. AND once you have your lashes done and if they feel heavy, stiff, are pinching, hurting, or sore. Get them removed! Those are signs of incorrect application. See more
