I love that even with a classic set, it's possible to get the eyeliner effect with lash extensions , which means you can skip your makeup routine and go barefaced, cuz it's 2020 and ain't nobody got the energy for makeup !! . The trick to the eyeliner effect for me is to use short lengths that don't splay out as much as a long extensions would, and lash every lash, especially on the bottom layer of lashes. This builds density close to the lash line so that when the eyes are... open, they appear darker right at the lash line, just like eyeliner would! . Up close and personal with this beautiful eye ! Volume lashes don't always have to be super thicc (yes with 2 c's) and dense - they can be natural and wispy to keep people guessing ! . Most of my clients prefer a more low key every day look, which I absolutely love creating! If you've been in for a hybrid or volume fill over the past three weeks, I've likely upgraded you and filled your lashes with more volume than usual, and explained that during this time of year, we tend... to lose more hairs than we typically would. . This is because we are in the midst of a FALL SHED, which means our hairs (including lashes!) are shedding more quickly in preparation for the winter. Your lashes may become sparse more quickly and in greater amounts than usual, so having the extra volume after your fill helps keep your lashes looking full for longer, until we are past the dreaded fall shed! . Zoomed right in so you guys can see that each natural lash gets its own extension . Proper isolation of every lash ensures that the health of your natural lashes is maintained, and each one can grow and shed as it naturally would . . When lashes are improperly isolated (i.e. multiple lashes glued together), this can be painful or itchy for the client , and will likely cause lashes to be pulled out prematurely . Even the most seasoned technicians still unintentionally get ...lashes stuck together - the worst offenders are baby lashes, which like to get stuck to errrrrthang !! . A good lash tech does their due diligence and checks for stickies throughout and at the end of each appointment . This is so that your extensions are comfortable to wear and not damaging to your natural lashes! So when you feel me checking through what feels like every dang lash at the end of your appointment and you're dying to get off the table, that's exactly what I'm doing ! . This is part of the reason why lash appointments take so much time - it's not easy to individually isolate the tiniest hairs on the body, and it's skill that takes a lot of practice to be competent at!! . Raise your hand if you love fluffy lashes !!! When asked what kind of lash set she wanted, this client answered with "the fluffiest one" ! Love her!!
