Meet super Stanley! Even though he’s still just a baby himself, his ex-owners got an even younger puppy and then kicked Stanley out when he got jealous. They dumped him at the shelter, where he was so upset and scared that no one wanted him. After a few days, his name was added to that horrible list of dogs to be killed the next day. But Stanley got lucky and was rescued at the last minute! We got lucky too, because we got Stanley. We think Stanley is about 7 months old, and ...since he did live in a home before, he could well be housebroken, we don’t know yet. What we do know is that he is absolutely beautiful. It’s a shame you can’t reach out and touch him because he is so soft! Highly intelligent, he is treat motivated and quick to learn. He’s also eager to please and sensitive to direction and correction. Stanley is affectionate, and loves to play with other dogs and kids, though it does take him a moment to acclimate to new surroundings. Once he’s comfortable, Stanley’s joyful personality absolutely shines. We think he is about 7 months old. He’s already 61 pounds! Maybe a mix of Black Mouth Cur and Belgian Malinois? Neutered, fully vaccinated and microchipped.
Our latest lucky rescue. She sure wasn't lucky when she was hit by a car earlier in the day, but she was lucky to taken to the shelter and lucky to be saved before they killed her. Now we're going to fix her up and make sure she never has to rely on luck ever again. We would REALLY appreciate your help to cover the costs so we can keep the good luck rolling for other dogs in the shelter. https://gofund.me/bf6f0553

Our princess Cassie, living her best life!
Just look at Zeus. He doesn’t stop smiling! Which is pretty shocking considering his previous owner dumped him at a high-kill shelter. For weeks he sat unnoticed in his kennel until they added his name to that awful list of doomed dogs. But that’s when Zeus’s luck changed, because he was rescued with only hours of life left! He is a 5 year old boxer-lab mix, has the softest fur, and is eager to give his love to other dogs and people of all sizes. Cats are unknown. He appears... to be deaf, which seems to have no effect on his excellent spirits. Zeus has lived in a home before. He is neutered and up-to-date on all his shots. Please PM for an application. References, a virtual home visit and a $250 adoption fee required.
This little sweetie is Ellen, a 6-7 month old cattle dog (heeler)/lab puppy. Ellen was confiscated from her home along with 5 other dogs and found herself in danger in a high-kill shelter in Houston. Luckily, Ellen and her family were saved at the last minute! Now she’s heading to Ontario to find her best life. She’s bouncy and affectionate and only wants what every puppy wants: love, companionship, lots of playing and a soft comfy bed. Being part cattle dog, a very smart wor...king breed, she will need to be kept busy in an active home so she do get bored. Spayed, up-to-date on shots, and microchipped. Currently about 25 pounds, will grow to be around 50. Being a puppy, she probably still needs training in house manners and leash walks. She is now safely in boarding in Texas and will be arriving in Canada mid-February. PM for an application. References, virtual home visit and $250 adoption fee required.
