Gypsy moth * they are out in masses this year again* Please spread the word on how to manage the population naturally. 1. Burlap wrap * tied at the top and loose at the bottom to skirt out the burlap. The Caterpillars crawl under the burlap and can easily be removed into soapy water to ensure they die. Checking multiple times a day as they continue to crawl looking for a way up the tree and some eventually find it ~ ... Check often* 2. The moths lay distinctive nest along the trunks and the bottom of branches through any tree* they are indiscriminate *** winter walks are the best time to spot the over winter eggs sacs. 3.
