A very big thank-you to all my dear clients for your support over these last two weeks. I hope everyone is in good spirits and that you are staying home as much as possible. I thank God that I’ve been able to keep serving you despite these circumstances. I am very appreciative of the fact that you have stopped by to pick-up your purchases and food orders, with lots of patience towards our new physical distancing routines. I know that we can’t always compete with supermarket ...and warehouse prices but we’ve always done our best to keep a large variety of products in stock and I see that lately you have seen the value in that. During this health crisis we started offering home delivery and "contactless" service. No complicated apps involved, simply email or give us a call to get it started. Likewise, you can always call ahead to place your orders for pick-up. Please, take good care of yourselves We’ll keep you updated on any changes via our social media pages. -Irma

Schedule Update Amig@s, we’re going to be operating at slightly reduced hours for now, from 12pm to 7pmstill 6 days a week, closed Tuesdays. At La Cabaña all of our dishes are available for take-out. We kindly ask that you call ahead to place your order whenever possible ... La Tiendita remains open and stocked with your favourite Latin-American staples. Best practices for shopping include: Try to send only one person to do the shopping; Have a shopping list to keep the frequency of your trips low; Only grab what you are buying, to minimize the handling of items as you shop. We thank you very much for your continued support. More importantly, we hope you are coping well under the circumstances. We are keeping the faith that our communal efforts will help to #flattenthecurve as much as possible so that we can all resume our new normal

To our dear customers: With this virus that is in full swing around the world, we want to let you know that at La Cabaña and La Tiendita we are taking the necessary precautions to keep our environment safe and sound. We continue with frequent hand washing, the sanitation of our workstations, our kitchen equipment and utensils as well as the common, high-touch areas in the restaurant and store. It’s a well-known fact that I like to hide in the kitchen and I do it for the pur...pose of avoiding a cold or fluotherwise, how will I work and keep my business afloat? I do not have the luxury of working from home. That said, none of us will take a risk if we are not feeling well. So please know that you can feel safe visiting us for a bite to eat or for a grocery run. We can prepare your orders for take-out if you wish and we have a variety of products that can be useful if you need to isolate yourself at home (tamales, flour for tortillas, dried and canned beans, frozen fruit pulp, etc.). We are praying that this situation will not be too severe or long-lasting. -Irma
