It is with a heavy heart that we announce, for a third time, the cancellation of Jack. Ontario COVID-19 restrictions are very strict right now and the company won't have the chance to film the play. We are blessed to have had the chance to still offer our Theatre School, Life After Hockey, The Hockey Sweater and Jacinthe this year! 2020-2021 is unfortunately over sooner than expected, but we look forward to seeing you next year!

Hello everyone, we are saddened to announce that JACK had to be cancelled once more due to the pandemic. We may have been a little optimistic, but it's the optimism of our performers and spectators that keeps us going. Fortunately, there is a possibility that it will be streamed virtually, so stay tuned for updates for this show.

Sum Theatre and La Troupe du Jour are proud to present The Hockey Sweater / Le Chandail, a musical and bilingual adaptation of Roch Carrier’s beloved short stor...y, Le Chandail. The Hockey Sweater tells the story of a child who wishes for a new Montreal Canadiens hockey sweater, but receives instead something he could never have imagined. This re-telling of a Canadian classic, now performed on an outdoor rink, embodies the hope that any child with a stick and a puck can become Maurice Le Rocket Richard. . The show is free but you have to reserve a spot! There will be performances in both Saskatoon and Regina in a safe manner on an outdoor rink! January 28-31, Feburary 6-7. .
