I purged a few of my own favourite pieces with my most recent Instagram sale, and it feels so good. Its opened up an opportunity to make my closet work better for me + where Im at in 2020: working for myself, being part of my community, and knowing more about how I spend my time. Despite passing along so many items that I loved, I know Ill be happier and less confused while looking at my closet each morning and knowing that Im actually going to wear whats in there. When I realized this outfit was almost entirely thrifted, I knew it had to be documented. This is hardly an unusual occurrence in my life, but its rare that I look quite so put-together. This years Christmas gifts are almost 100% secondhand, too! Save for some special items (from @steannesspa that couldnt be #thrifted) I knew Id find something for everyone as long as I started early enough. Kylie took home one of my all-time favourite finds on Saturday! This tropical vintage dress will forever have a place in my heart (and I might need to borrow it back someday.) The side hustle life is a morning of errands in a slightly dirty dress that I didn't realize was dirty, and which later got soaked in foam at the (worst) car wash, followed by a mad dash to the shower and a halphazard face mask application before washing the car again in the drive way, an absolute non-negotiable because I got it stuck (and I also got it out) of a tractor path two days ago and it's #nationalroséday at @thejunemotel so showing up to prep for this afternoon's pop up in a (completely, inside and out) muddy truck just doesn't seem very on brand @eminenceorganics am I doing this right?

It's always going to be some iteration of pants and a shirt, specifically straight leg or cropped blue jeans and almost always a white button down (though you know I'm a sucker for a Liberty print). Throw in a pair of lo...afers and a watch and I'm good to go. I still haven't found a new pair of sunglasses because I'm very. specific. about what I want to put on my body.
