Day 21 of gratitude A risk you are thankful you took This one is a no brainer! I am thankful that I took a chance on myself and started my online business. Day 19 of gratitude A person from my past This one is very hard. There are definitely people from my past that made an impact in my life. What is hard is to find someone who made a POSITIVE impact. Everyone who has made a positive impact in my life is part of my present, not my past. One person that comes to mind is a neighbour from my cottage. Ray lived on a tiny island across from us for as long as I can remember. He lived there until the ice froze and then he spent his winters at a motel. His independence always inspired me. He was such a strong man and I like to think he inspired me to be strong and independent myself.

Day 18 of gratitude A book you are grateful for. I honestly love the Lord of the Rings books. I even have an original set. I usually go for more of a murder mystery type book but there is something so creative about them. They open up your imagination, I can’t wait to share them with my son.

Day 17 of gratitude Someone who made me smile I was having a rough day today and my sister in law checked in on me. It was nice to know she had my back

Day 15 of gratitude A song that I am grateful for. This song always grounds me when I am going through hard times. I even used to sing this to my son to get him to sleep as a new born.

Don’t want for it work for it!!

I missed yesterday’s gratitude! Today I will be doing two, we all misstep from time to time, it’s all about how we recover! Day 13 of gratitude Something I have learned I have learned this relatively recently. I have learned that having a positive mindset can make a world a difference in your day and even your life! If you tell your mind that it’s going to be positive, those negative thoughts that bring you down will go away! ... Try it! I promise you won’t regret it! Day 14 of gratitude The best gift I ever received This gift was something that is not a physical possession. I once received a gift from my parents that was a horse back riding trip. The memories from that trip will never be forgotten. Toys break, clothes wear out but memories are forever!
