This work is great to see. Consent does start so very young.

Patients often ask which is best. I generally say alternating between sitting and standing is good, as it keeps you active and while standing for long periods, our posture becomes poor and it's not as easy for our veins to return blood to our heart. End of the day, movement is best wherever you find yourself working. Squeeze those gluts, pump those calves, and take a trip around the office once an hour.

Just attended this webinar on natural labour induction. A great review of the evidence which supports acupuncture prior and acupressure during labour, breast stimulation and castor oil.

A great way of splitting up the day into 2-hour chunks and understanding the daily cycle of the body.

Eat processed foods, live a shorter life. These are foods like bread, breakfast cereals, instant noodles, chicken or fish nuggets, chocolate bars and candies, chips, and artificially sweetened beverages.

New York Times decides not to use the phrase 'natural birth' in their new website Parenting because birth is such a diverse experience. An alternate wording is having a 'good birth' based on several criteria "regardless of how their babies came into the world: agency (capacity to make their own choices, even if things didn’t go according to plan), personal security (a sense of safety during birth), connectedness (with medical providers, family members and with their babies), respect (an acknowledgment that birth is a transformative life event) and knowledge (understanding their bodies, and also understanding that birth was a process they couldn’t fully control)." Welcome to NYT Parenting. Here’s Why We Won’t Say ‘Natural Birth.’ https://nyti.ms/2PT0bga
