Such a fun framing project this afternoon! Little heart candies and toddler footprints make for some great art. Difficult to frame because of type of paper used in the first place so can't help the buckling from glued and no doubt licked candies ;) ) Very close to one or two edges, so I allowed them to look as if they're floating. Two little shadow boxes for two sweet little girls!

Lockdown happens. Ways of doing business have changed a lot! But messaging and curbside pickup still means that I can frame up whatever you need. As you can see I've been a very busy camper! Here at Laura's Art Shoppe, I have been selecting mats and frames for my customers via Facebook messaging and emails. No need to step inside the shop! It works! I'm available at regular shop hours, door locked and in my happy place. What a great time to re-decorate and freshen up your old matting and framing!

My watercolour is back in Laura's Art Shoppe after a jaunt to Timmins Gallery for the Northern Impressions juried exhibition. "Where Sky and Earth Meet" is framed to 11 x 21. Open the photo to see the entire thing.

"Spring has sprung, the grass is 'ris', I wonder where the birdies is!!" Once while walking around a trail in Kirkland Lake I noticed many homemade birdhouses throughout the park! Had to sketch these and do a little painting and frame it.. Laura at Laura's Art Shoppe
