Well, looks like we're back in lockdown. If Pepper can handle it, then so can I. What are you planning to keep yourself and your pets happy and healthy through the next month? While I was SO EXCITED to get back to shooting, it looks like we'll be on hold for another little while. I'm committed to spending the next month taking selfies, learning new skills and coming back with some more tricks up my sleeve. Stay safe and well!

Great news, with Guelph moving into Orange starting today, I'm booking sessions! I cannot wait to see your pets again! I've missed them SO MUCH! - Check out this sneak peek at Loki and Nuka's session! Here's what their humans have to say about them - Nuka's got the biggest tongue ever! He loves to hop around everywhere (because of his leg) but that does not slow him down! Loki is a big time cuddler. If you're willing to pet her, she will not move! If she starts to get the zoomies, watch out! Her butt tends to go faster than her front!

Sure, 2020 has been weird. And sometimes sad. And definitely difficult. But there's also been so much to celebrate! When we weren't in lockdown, I spent almost every weekend photographing beautiful pets, and I still managed to raise funds for my favourite rescues. And when we were in lockdown, only being able to photograph my own pets pushed me creatively (like self-portraits!). While I know we all can't wait for 2021, I'd love to know what you're celebrating about 2020. Tell me what went right for you this past year!

Sending a massive THANK YOU to all of the veterinary professionals out there (vets, techs, staff and everyone who makes pets lives better)! Thank you for your far-ranging skills, thank you for your ability to counsel families, thank you for your incredible contributions to rescue, thank you for patience and your compassion. And most of all, thank you for the grace with which you are handling what is a very challenging year for all of us. To my own vets, thank you so much for making my pups feel comfortable and keeping them well - and Gwen, I'm so sorry that Kipper pooped on your chair, but I'm pretty sure he did it out of love.

Hope you sleep well this Christmas Eve! Wishing you a festive season that's very merry and a 2021 that's WAY better than 2020!
