I have been nominated by Kaye Smillie to show 10 pieces of my work in ten days. This is a very old piece done in 1980 of my daughter Meghan reading in the best chair ever. I had only done cartoons up to this point and would eventually move from ink drawings to poster paint. The ink has lasted. I do not recommend poster paint. Lol

I cannot believe that after fifty years of marriage, my Alun just asked if I noticed that nothing sensible is going on in this creation. I am speechless!

Another illustration for Alun's story. Northern life is hard on some.

This piece was commissioned for the new Hospice here in Duncan. I am so honoured to have been given the opportunity to share a little piece of my heart with this amazing sanctuary. It is titled "Blessings".

Windy Wash Meadow. This is my latest commission. I am particularly fond of Maureen and Margaret who are laughing and bumping hips as they dance up hill. SOLD

Here comes another one. I am enjoying myself . This wolf is a little scary but he looks well fed so is not likely to consume his riders. No title yet. For those of you who are artists, the background is grey gesso from KROMA. It is delicious to spread on the canvas and I love the colour. This is going to save me a lot of paint,

I was thinking about the end of the day when the river is green and gold. Who doesn't like sitting quietly by the water?

I have edges to paint and a little more work to do on the grass but I am pleased with this one. It is a commission for a friend who visited Newfoundland to see the icebergs. He took a photo of this blue house and the iceberg passing by and put it out on instagram. There was an immediate response from someone who said " Oh! That's Margaret's house! I am naming this one "Margaret's Iceberg". It would tickle me pink if the real Margaret got to see this. I have realized that I often have a seagull in my work who is looking down, curious about something. I think I may find a dog ends up looking up at this one sitting on the pole.
