2020, despite it's chaos and confusion, has given me the gift of clarity and clairvoyance. This year I experienced the darkest season of my life, or as @the.holistic.psychologist would call it, The Dark Night of the Soul. As I sit here writing this, I did not plan on writing about the deep state of post partum depression that I have been experiencing...but I feel that it's necessary in order to fully understand the inspiration and action of this beautiful potion.... When nothing felt right in this world, I leaned into creating. Alchemizing my sadness and rage into creating became my favorite coping mechanism. Who knew that in the darkness of this time, it could also be a portal of divine inspiration... Creating this potion has healed parts of me, beyond my skin ...and I cannot wait for you to experience it's magic. COCOON masque encompasses the need to go inward, to lean into the dark in order to transform. To cocoon is an act of deep rest and nourishment- the gift that this year and the season of Winter brings. And so, I crafted Cocoon with the most nourishing butters, like omega rich Avocado and reparative Pumpkin Seed. It's infused with lymphatic supporting Burdock Root, mineral dense Brazilian Purple Clay, anti-inflammatory Turmeric, hydrating Rose and crushed Amethyst- the stone of protection. The rich buttery application goes on smooth and can stay on for hours, a gorgeous shimmering purple facial treatment. Cocoon masque quenches dry skin, repairs and heals, and leaves your skin dewy, hydrated and polished. Safe to use for all skin types, especially those in need of deep nourishment. This masque is crafted in small batches and will only be available for the winter season.
I've been dreaming about this potion for a long time. A buttery, luxurious, ultra hydrating masque treatment perfect for this season (and, season of life). A blend of avocado + pumpkin butter, Brazilian purple clay, turmeric critical extraction and crushed amethyst. This treatment transforms dull, tired and dry skin for a glowing + dewy appearance. ... It has the easiest application, can be worn for hours on end and has the most gorgeous purple shimmer... COCOON facial masque will be launched this Wednesday...stay tuned! See more
Nope, not snow (yet!). But a new potion will be falling into the apothecary very soon. Any guesses to what it might be?
Not going to lie, I am BLOWN away by the amount of people who got their hands on one of my limited edition WARRIOR BALM. I am so excited for you all to experience it's spicy yet soothing magic. It has incredible anti-inflammatory properties that will help not only with easing aches and pains, but also increasing the immune system, as well (because ensuring circulation and warmth is everything when it comes to keeping healthy during this season) But as a holistic practitio...ner, I know that in order to achieve optimal anti-inflammatory actions- we must deal with what's happening inside the body, as well. Here in Edmonton, where I am from, COVID cases are on the rise and another lockdown is impending. My main concern is like many others, staying healthy. So im sharing with you my take on Rosemary Gladstar's famous FIRE CIDER, a immune boosting tincture made with apple cider vinegar. This simple recipe uses ingredients you can easily find in the grocery store right now and is an amazing way to keep inflammation at bay and boost the immune system- helping to quell colds and deal with the inflammatory flares that come with this season too. Link in bio for recipe. See more

thankful for this cohort this truly has been the best and yet, the hardest year of our lives and I think many of you can say the same. 2020 has shown us that we need to grateful for the basic things like family, health, community and connection, don't you agree? ... As the world whirled through chaos this year, i discovered gratitude is more than a feeling, it's a practice. being in a moment of gratitude is ritual. I know it's hard. The world is messy, our nervous systems are shot, we're collectively grieving the loss of thr way things were. But even if it feels hard to name what your grateful for, just simply feeling grateful for your heart beating in your chest, the flow of your breath, and the way the sun shines through the window... the slow blinks of a tired baby falling asleep without a care in the world... being present in the moment is a gift that we all have the power to access. Finding gratitude in the small things is medicine. I hope you all find a moment today and everyday where you can fall in love with simple things.

Seriously the cheeks on this girl ...Swooooon! I also take full credit for them as this little one has been GLUED to the boob for 7 months. I feel so blessed that this monkey loves her mama like she does, and for that we have a super special bond. The last 2 months though, this little one has had me up every hour, every night ... We started transferring her to the crib after nursing to sleep and she is already transitioning so well and giving long stretches of sleep...Which means we are both so much happier and rested already. Annnnd I got my nights back! But as I'm writing this, I'm already missing her sweet cuddles. But I know that this is what's best for both of us to sleep better. Motherhood, man. It's a tug of war on your heart strings every damn day!
