Ella is like every energetic little girl, and loves to dance. She has been diagnosed with a rare neurological disorder. Ella is confined a lot of the time to her bed. She is bored and she is lonely. ... Her family needs a special van for her wheelchair. How can we help??? I will be offering my Sugaring services on March 27th & 28th ( Saturday & Sunday ) 100% of the proceeds will go to helping Ella. Spaces will be limited so we can space appointments to keep in line with Covid 19 guidelines. Please take note of this new policy. I have never wanted to enforce a policy, but spaces are limited and people do wait for their spots. This should hopefully make appointments run more smoothly, and allow everyone to get on the schedule as they wish without wasted spots. I understand life is crazy and busy and things unexpected happen! My cancellation policy is not to punish, but rather keep spots open for those in need. How we represent ourselves & what we do matters and affects our growth. Using proper lingo is key. We are not sugar waxing we are Body Sugaring specialists. You never want to classify yourself in a waxing column because Sugaring is nothing like waxing. We cannot say it is a better technique because of X,Y,Z and charge more for Sugaring while referring to it as Sugar wax. Body Sugaring is a highly technical skill to learn, we know it is all natural and we know if gives a su...perb result to our clients. That is why it is typically higher in price to waxing. Taking the time to properly learn the skill, getting certified and learning how to best utilize the products is how you grow your business thus make more money. Educating your clients on what you are using, and why, how it is a different technique altogether is how you will flourish. This is just a tidbit of information you will receive in your class if you certified through Lauren’s Sugar & Spice. Now if you want to take Sugar and use strips with it ( a method I do not teach nor sell ) you are essentially waxing with the Sugar and it would be suitable to use the term sugar waxing. Proper moulding is crucial in removing hair correctly. To the left you see a mould that is well worked into the skin. Therefore the Sugar seeps into the hair follicle and wraps around the hairs. On the right you will remove your paste and find many hairs missed and broken. This is not a proper result, and will take much longer to complete your service as you go back for all the missed hairs.
