I'm back! And I am so excited to show you the treasures I got on my week off! First off is this new to me sewing machine! So glad to finally have one so I can start adding fleece and fabric lining to some items Second, are these awesome new toque tags made by @mbcustomsupply , I can't wait to use them!! ... My third treasure is a renewed sense of energy and excitement to keep doing what I love and hopefully make stuff that you will love too

SPRING BREAK Bit of a long post ahead... Since it is also spring break for my day job, I decided I should take the week off altogether. Truth be told I need a break from social media because it is taking a toll on my mental health. Lately, I've been struggling with "success comparison" and I need a week to just reset.... First off, I want to say I genuinely love and care for all the other small local businesses and makers around me but I can't help but some days get discouraged when I see them making sales or appearing to be more successful than myself. I don't want this to come off as a pity post to guilt people into buying from me, I just want to be honest and transparent. I knew getting into this wasn't going to be easy, and that there are also lots of others who do the same thing. I just wanted a platform to display the things I make and hopefully create and sell a few things along the way. While the ultimate dream may be to turn this into a full fledge business, I understand the reality of that happening is slim. It doesn't mean I am not going to try, but it does mean I am going to do it at my own pace. I am passionate about what I create and I am also passionate about my day job but lately both have been very taxing on my emotions so I am grateful for this week off and I look forward to coming back refreshed and ready to help turn your dreams into yarn.
