Our LAWN Members show at RAC from March 29-May 10, 2021. All the art in this show will also be posted to our FB page. Enjoy! 'Who'd a Thought'......we would be here? Trying to balance every aspect of our lives. Artists were encouraged to create the positive, the negative, the challenge, the epiphany, the whatever encouraged you to go to your space and create.

Two of our LAWN members, Tessa May and Chris Short, took part in this year's CB Nuit Community Project 'All of Us EveryWEAR'. Their ongoing project O.L., inspired by a collection of labels/tags sent to Tessa May from her mother (Elsie May), deals with a gender discourse of memories, histories, identities, empowerment, oppression, and exploitation, as well as a concern for health, wellness, and environmental sustainability. Some of O.L.'s recycled and labelled outfits are seen modelled beside one of LAWN's Wheelbarrow projects used to grow and display sculptures created by revamping discarded found and natural objects.

Jane Reagh, artist, is now working on her mural in downtown Corner Brook! This will be a wonderful addition to our City! This project is part of a LAWN community project, supported by the City of Corner Brook. A Creative City. Thank you Jane for your awesome work.

"The Barrow Project is the result of a LAWN brainstorming session 2 years ago. We are so pleased and grateful to the City of Corner Brook for helping us bring the project to life with funding through their Community Grants Program. LAWN also thanks community members who donated barrows and to Western Environment Centre for their partnership. Seek out the barrows in various locations throughout Corner Brook, a Creative City. Coming up in September a barrow mural project celebrating Corner Brook."
