****COVID 19 UPDATE**** Difficult times are here for all of us, and with care and cooperation we will, together, get through this. Although our clinic will remain open, we are changing the way we provide services in order to comply with government recommendations to reduce the risk of spreading the virus. ... We are cancelling most elective surgeries and doing only necessary appointments, asking people not to enter the clinic. We will take animals who need to be seen from clients at the door. Medications and food can still be purchased, but again, clients will not enter the clinic. We are working to use other means of technology to communicate with you regarding your pets needs. These measures will allow clients to maintain social distancing from other clients within the hospital. These measures are not taken without much thought. Medically speaking, Lawrence Park Animal Hospital is trying to do our part to help flatten the curve, for the health care community, as it seems some of us, are likely to become infected. This will allow us on a more neighborhood level to be good stewards of health care to the Lawrence Park and North Toronto community, and allow us to practice for as long as possible in an uninterrupted fashion.
