When I got a text earlier this week from a client asking me to do a talk about strength training for runners, I came up with an excuse that it was being held too late at night. I later backtracked and accepted the invite because I knew these type of opportunities don't come very often. I needed to step outside my comfort zone and tackle this fear of public speaking head on. ...Did the talk go the way I wanted to go? Absolutely not!
