Congrats to our shop staff for taking 1st and 2nd in the Men’s and also 1st in the Women’s at the comp this weekend! Our community was so stoked on the first batch of Jones Surfboards we are ordering more. Hand shaped by a true ripper, Daniel Jones shapes these on the north shore of Hawaii, at Rocky Point. Further, we have been working with him on a model designed to perform on our home breaks here in NS. The Cobblestone will be a performance oriented quad fish that will hold speed and be easy to control. ‘The board offers tons of drive but can change direction quickly - Natural speed us...es less energy. The Cobblestone is like a twin, but easier to ride... it’s like a traditional quad, but a little faster. It does everything (except tail slide). - Daniel Jones. Daniel’s design ingenuity has taken elements from your twin, and quad set ups to make a unique trailer style rear fin for this model. You can still ride as a regular quad, but custom rear fibreglass trailers are being made to accompany this model to be ridden with your upright twin fins. And on the mushier, fatter wave days it will be fun with twin keels. Contact us before the end of the day Sunday sept. 27th to add a custom board to our upcoming order! Whether it be the new cobblestone model, or one of his other models, make your claim on one today! As per the first order, we do not expect stock to last long. Fins designed for Nova Scotia’s points. A tighter, pushed back cluster, inspired by the @joshmulcoy pro model, R&D borrowed from C.I., as well as theories from Stretch. The template is somewhat similar to the new John John’s but is orientated on the tabs differently and in favour of the waves we surf. These fins are one of the products in our hard-goods line that arrived in the shop today. Fins, leashes, traction available now.
