Finally getting back to this fabulous shoot from last weekend, and if I could fall more in love with this pair... I think I just did! I'm so excited to get back out there when Cali Korvo finishes her sleigh! What can't this girl do?

Learning the ropes while safe in daddy's arms. These might be my favorite moments at brandings. Kids taking their first steps towards helping out. Someone being there to show them where its safe to stand and what to watch for, but also how to be brave in a moment that looks pretty scary. They all begin with little steps. I know next year I'll see this little girl carrying "the bucket", continuing her steps to being part of the day.

The Tradition Some folk just don't get it. They think owning cattle makes no sense. It takes too much time, too much equipment,... not to mention the expense. But the fondest memories of my life -they might think sound funny- were made possible by Mom and Dad, 'cause they spent the time and spent the money. You see, the most important lessons helping values grow so strong, come from loving cattle and passing that tradition on. -Don Bishop
